I've got to admit this new timeline thing is horrible, looks so untidy and complicated. What do you guys think?

I like it...but it needs a bit of a change.

looks cluttered from what I've seen on others accounts. Mine don't have it, it seems, but in the same breath only 2 people I know on FB has it

I personally hate it. I think it is too different from what I was already used to, and thank God that I am not forced to use it, at least not yet. It looks too confusing to me personally.

Its good, nice and easy to go back on things from whatever time period you want rather than clicking "old posts" for hours.

Cluttered and gives you no way to get rid of old content you don't want. So bad, even, that I deactivated my Facebook and created a new account.

You do know it will end up on everyone's account eventually, even your new one? You can remove whatever content you want from your timeline anyway...

Yeah, I just didn't want to manually remove 4 years' worth of content from my Timeline, so this is gonna be easier.

Why would you want to do that anyway? Everything that happens on FB is supposed to be there. That's the whole idea... You might as well not have a FB account otherwise.

Well I can see that as a valid reason, but at the end of the day it's nice to look back and think "look how much I've changed for the better" and also to have a laugh at past events. Memories are priceless, I'd hate to throw that away.

I absolutely love the Timeline. I've been beta testing it since September and they've shown some pretty solid improvements since then, so I'm sure it'll be further tweaked in the near future to address most concerns people seem to have with it.

it is pretty messy, luckly I don't have it (for now), comparable to YouTube's new homepage and new channels design

I absolutely hate it. It wouldn't be so bad if it was simply a column (Like what we have now) however for me at least there is somthing that is deeply un-nerving about there being 2 columns that constantly overlap and appear to go out of sync. I like the idea of having a profile banner that you can choose rather than the last 4 pictures you were tagged in. Personally I've never found facebook a problem before, but with the new timeline, it's becoming a chore to use the *expletive of your choice* thing. Just another chapter in facebooks recent history or wrecking the layout, like the mini news feed and the chat bar that shows you people who are offline and who you never talk to... Oh well...

I agree, it also makes it waaaay more easier for people to creep on you.

The thing is is that I've had a Facebook waaaaay before the timeline back when the site was simple and clean, I despise the new chat design also

The old design made it pretty much impossible to review old posts so there's that at least. It's still a mess UI-wise, just a mess.
