Hey,
Was just wondering if it was possible to download the swf game from facebook and actually play the game without having to log in to the facebook site. There must be some way. I used firefox to download Stick Run and tried it from there, a bit of playing around showed that you CAN play it but you run through the boxes and it doesnt save your score (pretty useless)
But i thought, as long as the Flash game can get out to the internet and log in to the facebook servers, it must be able to work? Just wanted to see if we could play the games without having to load up facebook and the ads and other junk on the pages

If you can find any non-ActionScript 3.0 games, I can make them work.
If you want to try making them work outside Facebook yourself, first download the .swf file (this is the game). Then you will need a flash decompiler, I use Flash Decompiler Trillix (this costs money). You also need a hex editor (XVI32 is what I use) and a flash decompresser, such as cws2fws. If you have registered Flash Decompiler and own Adobe Flash, then just decompile the game and edit in Flash.
Otherwise, you will have to edit it by hand. Open the game in your flash decompiler and look in the scripts and see if it references any resources. You will need to download these as well. Then switch to p-code/hex view. Decompress the flash file with cws2fws. Open the decompressed swf in your hex editor and keep the flash decompiler window open beside it. Find the part of the script in Flash Decompiler that you want to edit. In the hex editor, search for about the first 6 bytes of the part of the script. Then you can edit the script and make it to work offline.
This is all very difficult, so it's probably better you just play them on FaceBook.
