Hi, tried many things. I created a VM for Windows ME but everytime I fail. Same with Windows 95 (orginal disk). I have downloaded the German Me iso from FTP.... Won't boot up. The VM stays black! I downloaded the english OEM Me Iso from FTP, yeahy it boots up but it's Chinese? I get a chinese font , can't read anything, who speaks Chinese . I downloaded MSDN iso and it don't boots up again (and if I format the disk with Windows Me OEM Disk and then start up with MSDN it says Invalid System disk). I'm really angry after downloading 3 iso's not working ! Same problem with my orginal Windows 95 disk (but I can remember I had installed it in Virtual PC 2009 or so). I thought about a Start disk, but I'm unsure. The Startdisk starts fine with CD Support, then I do fdsik an create a DOS Partion and set it active. It says E: is the CD-Rom drive. I connect the .iso but however I can't go to the drive E:
typing in: cd E:\ ---- gives me:
A:\> cd E:\ [pressing Enter] A:\> ----- typing in: cd E: ------ gives me: A:\> cd E: [pressing enter] E:\
A:\>
I'm getting frustrated. What to do? P.S: When I type setup.exe it says It's a invalid Media type ready C: (Abort/Retry/Fail). Typing in f for fail gives me the same message 3 times then says It will do a Routinecheck like when you install. After Pressing enter a the Blue check screen flashs and then It goes back to the console. Typing in Setup.exe again lets the PC freeze. (Now dowloading German Upgrade and hope it will go well)

I've done the installation via an upgrade from Windows 98. But I still have the same problem with Windows 95 disk, does anyone now how to solve this problem?

Isn't CD used for directory switching? As soulman said, get a bootdisk with CD-ROM support, prepare the drive for installation and then move to drive E by typing "E:".

umm try an English version? Or do you really want a chinese one?
Also of course it's gonna say invalid system disk because all you have is an active partition, you don't have a boot sector or operating system installed.
