Great work! Some notes though:

1. I think you should move the legend to the top. I didn't find it until halfway through the list when I got curious about the colours...
2. Microsoft BOB is NOT an OS. It's a shell for Window 3.1/95. Unless you include MS software (though I think it's a good idea), I don't think it belong here.

BuildList incomplete and have more unconfirmed builds. Any unleaked buildNumbler must have Note and source

Although this topic has started in May and has no new release since.

I wanted to add an suggestion, remove all mentions of doubtfull builds or without hard evidence (screenshot, file(s) from the build, or the build itsself).

Second suggestion, make another layout or seperate the sections on new pages.
That will clean it up and make it better.

As for the Windows 8-related updates, as you can see, this particular copy of the Microsoft OS Checklist is from May 17th this year.

However, if you would like to see a further updated checklist, of which has more Windows 8-related updates than ever, you should check my project, the Official Microsoft OS Checklist for The Beta Group and AbandoNet (available on both groups; ask Daniel for permission to enter The Beta Group, and/or ask Battler for permission to enter the Power User's section of AbandoNet), though I am in the process of making another release of it on both groups, the successor to the August 18th, 2011 release, the "Christmas Holiday Release", in development since early September this year and originally scheduled for release on November 28th, 2011, however, it may be delayed until December 24th this year, that is, if there are too many updates to be added within the course of over three weeks.

I've added a few notes to the MS-DOS section, thanks to the following book I picked up: Advanced MS-DOS By Ray Duncan, 1986. The book details quite a bit of DOS history, up till 1986. I'll upload the file as soon as I make a few updates to the Windows 8 section.

The build list (obviously) doesn't include the latest Win8 builds, such as Build 7989 or the Developer Preview (Build 8102). The list almost approches 7989 (the highest in the list is 7982), but since the build was leaked in June 2011, and list was made in May 2011, the list doesn't contain the build.

Bravo for captain obvious... I don't know about the status of tpemail's list, but WinPC said he will release a new version of his own list soon... Correct me if I'm wrong, but it's definetly a good idea to wait patiently...
