 I just felt like sharing my latest project. I mainly use PowerPoint to create GUIs/PPT OSes. The video below illustrates a different approach on combining Windows 8 and WP7 to create an immersive experience. This GUI is touch-only and would have support for vertical/horizontal orientation. I might release the PPT files in the future.

Very nice work, although very similar to the Windows 8 Concepts. Id love to see this as part of a Customized OS based on Windows 8, definitely works as a slimed down version of the OS

Very nice, you must have hard time doing it.

I like it, but the "portrait" orientation might be a bit too narrow /my opinion/
I only wish I know how to make this with ppt D:

Just links from a slide to another, transitions between slides, and animations on mouse hover and on click.

you did an amazing work, considering all the limitations of PowerPoint. However, it seems to me like too many of the concepts you are showing have already been integrated into Windows 8.

This is Powerpoint, so it can't be a real OS.
It's just an accurate simulation of an OS GUI...
By the way I must say it looks really nice, and it's actually an impressive job for being just a PPT...
