Hello all,

A mobile theme has been added to the site. It is automatic for mobile devices.

However it has some drawbacks:-
- No new topics can be posted using the mobile theme.

This is to be fixed in the next release of the mod (whenever that will be). You can however reply using the quick reply box at the bottom of topics.

If you want to use the normal version you can disable the mobile on by clicking the link in the very footer of the page. To return to mobile view, hit the "Clear board cookies" button and re-login.

Hope this is of use to some people and I would appreciate testing as well. I'll be making little modifications to the template soon to make it easier to follow and easier on the eye.

EDIT: New users will need to clear their board cookies to get the theme for the first time.

I should have noted that new users need to clear their board cookies to get the theme.

Don't know if tablets are supposed to get it, but it's not on the HP TouchPad.

Works on WM though.

Tablets probably not, since they're designed for full sites. Mobile devices should providing the user agent is programmed into the mobile script. I only stumbled upon it today so I haven't really tested it. However I hope it's useful to some people.

It works for me but registration is broken when in normal mode.

Thanks Andy ! When I'm on the go, I sometimes check the site and tbh, I always wished there was a mobile theme to take the load off my WM phone. Good job !

You need to remove the cookies for BA for it to work for the first time. This means you will be logged out of the forum too.

I should have mentioned that I did a full wipe on this phone earlier today. I tried clearing cookies anyway but it still doesn't work.

This will be really nice when trying to view BetaArchive on a mobile device. It was a pain the couple of times I had done it.
