Favourite OS UNIX v6, Plan 9
I like the BSDs, but any Unix in general. I just find the BSDs are closest to the original Unix timesharing system, which gained so much popularity because of it's simplicity and usability.

I just installed PCBSD Beta 9 yesterday and it's pretty nice. The packages you just click on them to install and every package is self contained so it can't mess up dependencies for a different package. It might use a little more space on the hard drive but I like it.

I don't use much graphical software (firefox, gimp, pidgin, that's about it). I just like that the BSDs are very simple (not necessarily beginner friendly) and whole operating systems (unlike Linux + GNU software). Apart from that, I like that there aren't 100 different distribution of each variant, just Net-,Free-,Open-,PC-,DragonflyBSD and some smaller ones...
