I have the Dell Inspiron Mini 1090 (also known as the Dell Inspiron Duo) and everytime I go on Facebook it is really slow. Every other website is fine.

Here are my specs:

Windows 8 DP
2 GB Ram
320 GB 7200 RPM Harddrive
1.5 Ghz Intel Dual-Core Atom Processor N550
Internet Explorer 10 (whether it be the Immersive version or the Desktop version.)

It's a really fast computer for it being an atom.

It also was pretty slow on Windows 7 when using Internet Explorer 9.

Does anyone know why it is so slow? I don't have a problem with any other website but that!

My mom also used a HP Mini netbook to use Facebook and also for me to make videos like "YouTube Poop: Everyone's CD-i is Broken". It was fast.

As above. Remember IE10 is also a Developer Preview build. Try Chrome or Firefox.

But they don't have touch support.

Either do without touch support or do with a slow browser. Your choice.

Yesterday FB was very slow here too, and all my friends had the same problem, so there's nothing wrong with your pc.
By "coincidence" the speed returned to normal exactly at 0:00 local time.

I want touch support. Either it's not being used for what it's supposed to.

Stannieman, it works fine on my desktop and really powerful laptop, but it is always slow on my tablet.

I'm pretty sure there's an extension for Chrome that gives it basic touch support. Perhaps the same with Firefox.
I'll likely fix itself in the future, it's a DP browser on a DP OS afterall.

You could use the Windows build of Fennec, the mobile version of Firefox: http://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/mozilla.org/mobile/

Not sure what you mean by "no touch support" when the touch screen is just acting as a mouse...? Sure the buttons are a little small for touch to be easy to use but you'll have to live with that.

I think he means touch-scrolling. Some browsers like Chrome natively, don't allow you to scroll by flicking down and up.
