Absolutely. The SP1 update works, too.

The surprise with this DP is how solid the backward-compatibility is - so far, every application I've installed has worked just fine.

I found a BSOD screenshot without the 'smile' on the web, don't know if it's authentic though. The reason of the BOSD is WinRE is not installed, does anyone know how to delete/uninstall WinRE?

That can probably be achieved by deleting the bootim.exe file.

Maybe I've do it wrongly, first I restart WDP after I deleted bootim.exe from system32 folder, then I press F8 for options but it didn't show a BSOD at last instead it skipped to the login screen directly.

Anyone know how to get the tile to start up IE in the immersive shell? I unpinned it and i can't seem to find it anywhere. only the regular desktop IE.

To pin the immersive IE to start screen: Move the mouse over Start -> select Search -> (on the right side) Scroll down and click Apps -> The apps list will appear, scroll to right and look for Internet Explorer -> Right click on it -> At the right bottom click Pin.

If you apply the RPEnabled = 0 key, you basically get a non-Metro version.

- Most of the new features to.

I agree with him though, Microsoft should and likely will offer a option to choose in later builds. It's just in the DP as they want developers to get used to the Metro UI to make apps.

I've searched for updates just now on client x86 and still no sight of KB2619246, I wish it will available soon. :)

Though there's always a chance the update will come over Windows Update.

Hopefully they'll be on Windows Update in a few days. Hopefully we get more updates fixing more bugs. Since we won't have the beta for a while.

Is this a VM error, or a full, VirtualBox crash? When does the error come up (if any)?

Ahh, yeah. I have experienced this. Just enable Hardware Virtualization (if your CPU doesn't support it, sorry).
