Has anyone heard if there is a way to change the Windows 8 DP to a universal disc.?
(I have already googled for this & found nothing for W8)

I know w/ Windows 7 one only had to only remove the ei.cfg file to open up all the other versions but I dont see that file in the "sources" folder on W8 DP .iso

The only SKU for 6.2.8102.101 is Windows Developer Preview (Pre-release), there is no other SKU in the *.wim file.

It's just a Samsung Slate 7 with Windows 8 on it... I'd rather wait another couple of weeks until it comes out, and install Win8 on it myself

There exist some tabletPC's that already have accelerometers/gyroscopes. Like some of the newer Lenovo ThinkPad Tablets.. only difference between those slates and these is that these have a keyboard and those don't. Totally not worth the price until they get into the market and drop in prices due to high availability.

I don't know if this has been mentioned before, but pressing Shift-F8 rather than F8 before booting to WDP will show the traditional Advanced Boot Options menu like the screenshot.

question: how to restore default dualboot manager that was created by Windows 8? I edited it with EasyBCD from Windows 7 and It was turned to "old" dualboot menu.
