Wise words, I agree. The only time there is a stupid question is when people think BetaArchive is Google.

Everything Microsoft!
''Classic'' Desktop --> Right click Taskbar --> Task Manager --> Right click on the Apps from the Metro UI (They should have an ''Suspended'' text after it) --> End Task.

viewtopic.php?p=263895#p263895 ;)

(It has been asked friday also, even starting with the same ''It is a stupid question'' which it is not, it is an valid question, since metro apps don't quit on their on (except if windows needs the memory) but rather suspend).

Like on the iPad (Home Button to Minimize - Open Multitasking menu to close).

If you just want to minimize an app, and after open it in the same state:
Press the Windows button on your keyboard (or in the Charm menu).

If you want to fully close it:
Press Ctrl+Shift+Esc, choose an app and kill it. Close task manager. Click on the green background.
