A simple Google search would land you some answers.

I've done some research, but I would like to know what people who actually used the programs thought before I downloaded.

MonoDevelop? You can configure to use it with C++ compiler.

I've heard that Eclipse can be installed on Mac OS X. I used that in Windows and it's very good for C++ and Java.

If I am not coding is VS I'll be using CodeBlocks, not sure if they have it running better on Mac yet though.

You can code Objective C in Xcode easily than C++, with better results on Mac.

I have to agree with what others are saying, use Eclipse. I started using Eclipse in my C++ class, and I think it is better that VS, and it does work on OSX.

you could try NetBeans as well, I used to use it for Java but it can handle C++
