Well, in windows 8 earlier build I've tested ribbons looked awful (those orange ones) and I hated it. This looks awesome now, and an option to "minimize" it or even remove it completely is great. Don't like it? Don't use it & remove it. Simple as that.
I think Windows 8 will be actually one of the biggest improvements in recent Windows history (after WinXP), when it comes to new Operating Systems.

yea...... this is the latest windows explorer and have a new UI graph on transfer BAR and UI tab on collision replace.. yup im getting excited more about this windows 8

Just ran across this for the first time and looks really nice. Even though all they did was turn the context menu into a few additional buttons. I'm more than ready for it ^_^

I kinda got used to the ribbon.. I'm even starting to like it. But it's still good that MS thought about the others, and provided an option with small icons. Proves that feedback really helps

Lol, I agree to an extent. That was my first thought as well. I thought they modified something with paint. While I do think it's cluttery a bit too, it'll save a lot of seconds in our lives, haha. I'm ultimately curious about the memory usage. I think this will easily take up a couple gigs.
