Yeah I'm not worried at all. I Infact prepared 5000lbs of food and enough episodes of Top Gear to entertain me during an apocalypse during the time humanity rebuilds itself.

The sun's actions could be the least of our worries. I was watching a TV environment program last week, and it looks like, unless the western world stops breeding, that a 100% increase in basic food production is needed before the next 30 years, or many countries will have to face ration books more strict than those used during WW2.

I don't believe in the end of the world in 2012, as remember Y2K? You know how they said all electronics would fail, and guess what happened: nothing. Its a marketing technique. And if the world were to end, we wouldn't be able to predict it. It would just happen.

Yes we're Doomed, even in Middle East or Europe/American Continents.
If the end of the world is at 2012 then I'll believe it. And I don't care what will happen (like BChat). Die? Everybody will die even after long years.

Every couple of years or so, people come up with some 'ancient prediction' that the world will end, but it never does. Go figure. And, they always say "BUT THIS IS THE REAL ONE!!!!" Again, go figure.

Tottaly agree with this and that it's a marketing technique.
In Greece, people have started believing it for real, because some so called "scientists" write on Greek news websites/newspapers that an asteroid/weird planet will crash on earth, the Poles will be reversed (or something like that) and other crazy theories. Personally I don't believe such BS.

Others say that an ancient Mayan calendar ends on 21st December 2012, or whatever it is. And I swear that they said that in 2004 with some other ancient calender.

Shift the beginning date forwards, herpderp. or switch to 64-bit integers, yay!
