There was 2.01 386 edition, Windows/386 was indeed released before 2.03

Also, according to GuideBookGallery, version 2.0 and 2.0/386 were released on 9th December 1987.

well, I really hope, that is a real piece to collect and considering it's before 2.03 and from September 1987

Just to be sure and lucky we have the 386 edition of Windows 2.03 , it is the NEC OEM.

I installed it in EGA mode and it freaked out about some version mismatch.. but the normal 640x480 VGA works fine. Heh I never thought that it was sitting there right under our noses, good find!

I don't know how many copies of Windows/386 I've got. The only problem is, all my copies are disk 2 of 3 and they're all blank.

Just an update on this: I'm disscussing this with the owner (i guess) of the website. He/she said he/she paid hundreds of dollars for this piece of abandonware. still trying to convince him/her to pass us a copy of it...

I told him that we have Windows/386 2.03 (NEC OEM). which is not common (only available here).

well I doubt a trade would work. infact, i doubt we'll ever get this particular build...
