I have an old Compaq Deskpro and an old PowerBook 520. I put them up for sale in the Trading Section but if none buys them, I was wondering what you guys think I can do with them? What kind of software could I use on them with their age?
The PowerBook is in too good condition to use as a picture frame. And I think I might install my Zeta versions on the Compaq. Man I wish I could sell them, although it would be nice to see Zeta running on a PC that old.

Well I can't use it as a server because the hard drive is too small and I suppose I could install System 7 beta on the PowerBook. Might look into that. Or I might just go into a pawn shop and get rid of them.

Install old stuff on them, they're invaluable if you're interested in operating system history.

Use them for retrogaming. The older notebooks can still be used for like reading stuff when in bed (I hate books lol).
To be honest, reading for prolonged periods on an LCD screen in the dark can do lasting damage to your eyes.
