What kind of model is it ? Does it a ebay "china" one? (I'm looking for review or information about this kind of product.

Well, I bought it off Tesco. I am not sure if they will ship to France. But, they have some useful information. It might be on ebay, I don't know.

For less than 88£ (129Euros) I can buy a brand new Aiptek DV 6800 with AV-In, SDcard, 640*480 @ 30fps MPEG4 and 6Mpix photo pictures on a famous shop.

But there is not so much review to see quality or usage options :?

RAW mode gives me some advantages in editing, I can black out large parts of the image without quality loss + change white-balance.

I DO NOT recommend getting that China crap from eBay, the sh*t breaks the second you use it.

That does not look too bad, for the price, It would make a nice camera, at 6 Megapixels - but if you want a very good camera, like Widescreen, I would recommend a good one, MiniDV or one with a hard drive is good. You do get good quality video, I played it on my HD-TV and it looked great.

Here is my camera on your web site!

http://www.cdiscount.com/photo-numeriqu ... RD760.html

It is 253 Euros, that is £171, but I paid £230 for mine!

Be careful with thoose China cameras, like AnDrEwP182 said, they are not the best, I bought from them before.

Strange ! You should go to Andorra, this is a small country in the south of France. This "Principauté" is very small, but you have only Shops
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Andorra (picture : http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/c ... a_case.jpg ). You can buy there what you want for very small prices, there is no taxes, Alcohol, Computers, CD's, Cell Phones, Petrol (Gas), food and Tobbacco cost half than most of European Countries ! For example, a Canon camera sold for 180Euros at a big shop ( Fnac ..) and 130Euros for the cheapest online store, you can have it for 100Euros here; Other example, three years ago, the GameCube was at ~130Euros in France/Spain and only 60Euros there ! http://www.anotherworld.eu.org/photoz/i ... id_img=719
! But, no warranty, International Package ..
Mini DV is cool but now the SD camcorder are very cheap, this could be also great.

I know! Andorra is France/Spain's little secret.

Have a look at their World Factbook page. link
Quote:
Tourism, the mainstay of Andorra's tiny, well-to-do economy, accounts for more than 80% of GDP. An estimated 11.6 million tourists visit annually, attracted by Andorra's duty-free status and by its summer and winter resorts. Andorra's comparative advantage has recently eroded as the economies of neighboring France and Spain have been opened up, providing broader availability of goods and lower tariffs. The banking sector, with its partial "tax haven" status, also contributes substantially to the economy. Agricultural production is limited - only 2% of the land is arable - and most food has to be imported. The principal livestock activity is sheep raising. Manufacturing output consists mainly of cigarettes, cigars, and furniture. Andorra is a member of the EU Customs Union and is treated as an EU member for trade in manufactured goods (no tariffs) and as a non-EU member for agricultural products.

When I was young, we often go to Andorra every 2 weeks. This was cheaper to do 200km to go there to buy food, cigarrets, video games (the SNES / NES games was less than the half price than France but in this times you needed to change your money). At this times, there was no highway but now you have a tunnel, a highway and a fixed duana control. In 1999 I've worked in for 1 week in the single computer's shop of "Pas de la Casa" and there was no computer copyright or copy laws here. I was used to sold computers with Windows 98 on a copy CD, and It was legal since 2003...

If you could give me that image in full resolution I'd be more than happy. This is absolutely stunning and would be perfect as a desktop background.

That one really reminded me of the Vista Beta 2 wallpaper!

yeah, I have had the same impression :D :D :D anyway, cool pic!! :P

I love my mountains, so I decided to make this nearly 400 mb TIFF image in it's honour.
Image
Unfortunately after 50 attemps to upload it I complained to Andy who called me a faggot so I resized it and converted to JPEG.

(Note: I didn't upload the TIFF and Andy didn't call me a faggot (Also the uplaoder worked perfectly.).)

I moved the camera rapidly to create #3 and #4 (there's probably a technical term, but I'm not a photographer), and #6 is something out of focus (kudos if you guess what :D ).
