I collect hardware both new and old, provided it was either cheap or worth it. I also collect Windows CD's, but only when one happens to finds it's way to me.

I indirectly collect old cellphones. I have like 10 and none of them work properly
I used to kinda collect those cellphone cards, but now I use them to scrape dried out TIM from heatsinks, it's excellent!

At this point, I collect rare and hard to find Operating Systems. Some valuable, some not. I enjoy Beta Archive because there is such a sense of community and willingness to help each other and to help feed our beta/abandonware hunger. And Beta Archive has influenced my collection in a multitude of ways that I can't describe here. Currently, I have the following Genuine Boxed Operating Systems. Apple Mac OS X Leopard (10.5 Family Pack), Windows XP Home Edition, and Windows 7 Professional. I am really interested in finding boxed copies of Apple's Operating Systems, as they are by far the rarest.

I've collected a couple of different small things : - Soviet-era badges (especially those celebrating different space missions) - 2 gas masks : one standard-issue Romanian Army gas mask (complete kit + a functional chemical filter !) and a worned-out WW2 German gas mask I got from a flea market - various coins and bills stashed-away in a McDonalds salad container - any Jules Verne book I can find, but all from the same old publisher (hard cover, with a nice painting on the front one, suggestive of the story inside; <sigh> not like the cheap, badly edited, plastic cover ones they make today) - various vinyl records (got a old recorder from the Czech Republic with a warn-out needle and I can't find spare parts !!)
That's about it. As a fun fact, somewhat related, I've got a old Dacia car lying in the parking lot which hasn't been opened for 10 years xD Searching through it would make me feel as if I'm in Fallout, digging through ancient trash, as I remember there being a bunch of coins, a watch and two books in the glove compartment.

Recently I have accumulated a collection of various light bulbs and tubes so guess I collect these as well, I have:
1) 125W Coated and 125W Clear Mercury Vapour bulbs (Both with 125W ballast to run them) - (Bulbs being banned in next few years as general lighting as they use too much energy and therefore most are going to stop manufacturing them from from august onwards in EU countries) 2) 160W Mercury Blended Tungsten bulb (Self ballasted) and 250W on the way - - (Bulbs being banned in next few years as general lighting as they use too much energy and therefore most are going to stop manufacturing them from from august onwards in EU countries) 3) 8W T5 BL350 actinic tube (12 inch) - run with a 8W car inspection lamp 4) 15W high output T5 BL350 actinic tube (12 inch) - run with a 8W car inspection lamp 5)15W high output T5 Synergetic Green UV actinic tube (12 inch) - run with a 8W car inspection lamp 6) x4, 8W warm white T5 actinic tubes (11 inch) - run with a 8W car inspection lamp 7) 15W 15.0 UVA/UVB Reptile Vivarium bulb (E27 screw fitting, mimics desert light for reptiles) 8) 15W and 25W Energy Saving, Compact Florescent Blacklight bulbs (15W is E27 screw fitting and 25W is Bayonet fitting) 9) x4, 11W CFL bulbs E27 Screw fitting 10) x2. 15W CFL bulbs E27 Screw fitting 11) 30W BL350 actinic tube (15 inch) and 18W blacklight actinic tube (18 inch) - used to have a dual 30W BL350 actinic setup but ballast broke and then so did one 30W tube so now only have one with ballast and electrics don't work so can't use either tubes until I get new ballast. 12) x4 Green and x4 UV cold cathode lights (those 3W low energy lights used to mod PC cases) with inverters. 13) x2, 100W GEL bulbs (old non energy saving bulbs) And a 250W CFL blue grow bulb coming in post (for growing plants E40 screw fitting) supposed to be low energy but output as much as a normal 1250W bulb.
