Have you tried with the regular Microsoft Removal tool? It is an automatic update for Windows XP, Vista and 7 so I guess one of that versions should work wit Longhorn. It is located at Windows\System32\MRT.exe.

It updates monthly, so be sure to copy/transfer the most recent version.

There are a bunch of AntiSpyware builds on my Area13 server.. Check the Windows Defender folder if you want them...

Windows 7/8. Oh and a bit XP.
Try malware bytes,or ad-aware. They're great and free.

Running longhorn at the current date and on an main machine and as your main os? Bad idea, just run it in a VM and then you won't need it.

If you insist on running it on your main machine as your main os, you can run the Malicious Removal Tool, it scans for malware/trojans.

They don't have antispyware for windows 8. You will just have to live insecurely for now.
