I myself didn't try it without Intel-VT. Systems without Intel-VT are not wordy of having Windows 7 even installed, those systems are just to old, stick to XP (and 98/XP on that P3)
ut why an Pentium 3? I hope you do not turn into one of those: ''OMG, WHY DOES NOT WORK?!?!?!!!111oneoneeleven".

So my 45nm 2009 Core 2 Duo T6400 2.0ghz is not worthy of Windows 7? lol

lol I don't think I am quite that bad! Plus it did work to the standard I would expect! I was actually testing the Software Aero. And it is a huge drain on CPU resources as expected! I have my P3 running as my server anyway with good ol' server 2003

Ah dang, forgot that those Core 2 lines also got CPU's without Intel-VT, scratch that, CPU's that were made before 2006
What's weird is my E6750 has Intel-VT but for some reason if I install hyper-v I can't then virtualise a 64bit guest within ESXi, only 32bit. Not sure if it's a CPU limitation not being able to do 64bit guests or not.

Stop asking these questions, all of you newcomers, please. No one knows when the build's coming, it's all speculation.
i agree on that. The only i thing i know is that they are bussy coding the M3 release and that a closed beta should be made available on the PDC2011 (2nd week of September)

Which version of ESXi are you using?, Version 3 can only do 32-bit, version 4 can 64-bit. But run ''securable'', all 2 must be YES and the otherone should be (don't remember right now), then it should work.

Is there any special difference between Build 7850 or 7955? I don't know is it worth to download.
Well:
Build 7850
Good points - Fast boot time. - Very stable. - Contains Ribbon UI. - Contains Modern Task Manager. - Contains User Tile. - Very early (ugly) Webcam app UI. - Modern Reader
Bad points
- Contains less features than 7955/59
--- Build 7955
Good points - Extremely fast boot time. - Contains Ribbon UI. - Contains Modern Task Manager. - Contains User Tile. - Contains 3D options (needs unlocking?) - Contains Roaming Options. - Contains Immersive Browser. - Contains Metro Login. - Contains Pattern Login. - Contains new CTRL+ALT+DEL screen (ugly guy). - New oobe installer included. - New Webcam app UI - Modern Reader
Bad points
- Unstable. - Crashes sometimes. - Graphical issues. - 6.2 Kernel, makes alot of applications freeze. ---
I didn't really test 7959. The aero never worked on my system so I decided to uninstall it. 7955 is better in my opinion. I do recommend installing 7955 before anything else.
