Expect today Windows 8 Build 7971? I read that Windows 8 Build 7971 hit the Internet on May 10. Strangely, this is true or not?

That May 10th leak date is just a rumor. Seems some noobs (not you Betauser) can't tell the difference between a joke and fact.

I just wanted to verify the truth or not! On the one hand they say that yes, the other is not. So it is not clear

It's just like "Windows 8 will leak on April 1st." It's just a lie that someone made to get everybody's attention.

I remember that this somebody also foretold the dates of two other Windows 8 leaks. He seems to know the leaker, or is the leaker himself.

That or you heard of 2 predicted weeks being correct by happenstance and/or there were many guesses.

Linuxlove, it is leaking tomorrow. I know from a source it will. Stop assuming that it won't.

Unless you can publicly announce and solidly verify the source please don't post that it will leak on a date. Even if one was to BE the leaker themselves it serves no purpose to the community to make claims the community can't verify until it happens anyways.

Stop arguing, just wait for tomorrow. If it doesn't leak, we could all yell at the predictor and the bunch of noobs complaining about the missing leak.

Exactly. We must remember that this is only a rumour of a possible leak, which could be 7971. Like everyone else, I too am waiting for a new leak. However, we must be patient. Sooner or later, another leak will come. Whether or not it wil be on the 10th (tomorrow) and build 7971 we will just have to wait and see.

It's 50/50 ... Leak or no leak.
The last two dates were predicted and correct for the leaks. It's just a matter of who to trust if we are getting another leak.

Everyone these days has their own secret source. While it may actually leak tomorrow, any such claims that something will leak on a specific day I consider to be fake until that something does leak.

Well, DeFacto seems to have a good idea on the leak dates, and he also says 10th May.

I think he knows someone, although he claims he doesn't know more than what we know.

It could be not the 10.

I've seen giantsteen's proof, and I believe it will leak tomorrow.

I've never seen such rampant stupidity concerning when leaks will or won't leak in all my years collecting.

Here are the facts:
-Many dates were SUGGESTED (9th, 10th and 11th)
-Most people suggesting the dates here just read the suggestion elsewhere
-Both leaks so far happened on Tuesday (12th and 26th), and tomorow is Tuesday, 10th May.

Last is more of what I discovered, SO I'M NOT CLAIMING ANYTHING...

Anyway, why should we argue over this subject anyway? We get a leak or not. It's as simple as that...

Then wait for tomorrow! Perhaps unexpectedly, and will leak o_O

Bad news guys... I think there won't be a leak tomorrow after all. It seems the guy uploading it got caught, and he's lost all his inet (even in .ru), at least that's what i got told anyway.
