1. your computer is a piece of [censored]. 2. Same as above. 3. Obviously. 4. Same as #1 5. Still locked. 6. Not really. 7. You have to "add" it yourself. 8. That's just your opinion.
Now stop scaring other people...
What i didn’t like is that the UxSms Service, just won’t load. that means no Aero for me... that’s just sad, im used to having aero over remote desktop.
but well the service is actually gone from this build and i think I’m missing something on my reg file to enable it.

Guys, here's some information before installing.
I'd advise you to stay on build 7955.

This build is horrible, I will go back to 7955 if nobody manages to unlock the new features.
1. I think you don't install to server. 2. This server. In server share and upload files not need aerol 3. Server don't need registry tweaks 4. Server need server, NOT PC 5. Server not need pattern login because: Tablet PC =//= Server 6. Server don't need features. 7. Server don't need aero. 8. Ugly build. - IN "PC"

Did I hear right? Themes are enabled by default on the server edition? I'd have thought that these would be locked down, by default!
Yes themes are enabled by default on this build because there’s no more “Classic” style. All you have is Aero Lite.
What!!!!, I know so many users who can't manage to use the Win 7 Aero theme. - The first thing they de is switch it to classic. -- What will they do now!

Either use Lite or....suck it up and drive on? Then wait for someone to release a copy of classic as a third party theme.

Don't see the point why anyone would create a classic theme.

Given that this is a Server build, does anybody know if there are any new Server features?
According to the post on Russian site, there are new Hyper-V features - Virtual fibre channel and Replication relationship. However haven't tested it by myself.

Does anybody have a list of the actual changes in this release?
not really, it does have a redesigned server manager (although if we had earlier builds of server build it is probably there) Ribbon UI has a few more things enabled now and like 5 icons. slightly redesigned minimise, maximise close buttons i think.. .net framework 4.5 is mentioned in features along with IIS 8. otherwise not alot.
Im waiting for someone to unlock the aero lite with transparency... come on people!
because its a server build there is no media centre, or WEI scores or games, hybrid boot etc etc

Thanks for the information. Not sure if I will enjoy more apps using Ribbon now.

Why would you want to have Aero on a server? it is something i never should do (performance issues). i recommend using windows classic theme and having Aero on a server is liking playing sollitaire or minesweerper on it.... it is just a dont

That's completely bogus. You wont see it by default because the average server wont have a graphics card to support it. But if the server does support it then there is absolutely no performance issues.

You do realize that countless people use the server version of Windows for their workstation?

1. Buggy only on virtual machines. 2. Aero is turned off by default, but you can activate it in components. 3. Why none? 4. It's a trouble for all x64 (only certificated drivers) 5. It is present, but only if you use blue pill 7. I don't know this 8. Agree with you
