Sony says its former president and chairman Norio Ohga, credited with developing the compact disc, has died. He was 81.Sony Corp. Chairman Howard Stringer said Ohga helped redefine the Japanese manufacturer not only as an electronic hardware company but helped it also expand into software or entertainment.

I agree. Comments like the one above are not warranted. They are totally uncalled for, and show a lack of respect by the poster.

There are a number of individuals like Mr Ohga who have helped to shape the electronics industry (and thus the world of computing), and, whilst he is no longer around to appreciate the respect owed to him, his family is.
