I guess i have seen some websites sending out rumor that Gta 5 would be out by mid-2012
anybody got any news for it

I believe its currently codenamed 'Rush' and there's been some details on casting leaked but nothing very exciting just yet.

GTA has been quiet for awhile. It wouldnt surprise me if they did make 5. Hopefully itll be alot more fun than GTA4, That one felt like it dragged on. If they got GTA and mixed it with saints row customization it would be AWESOME!

In the past they seem to have stuck to some sort of trilogy, like GTA III being followed by GTA: VC and GTA: SA before GTA IV, so I wouldn't bet on it necessarily being called GTA V, but as one of their bestsellers they'll probably release another one sooner or later. Hopefully they'll keep the gameplay length up without making it difficult to the extent of annoyance (like flying a plane through a bunch of inconveniently-placed rings in the sky in GTA: SA).

i still have the collection of all GTA games.. :D
and i still play gta 4.. XD

I am a huge GTA Fan, all these rumors of a new version are good news. Hopefully they are working on it and we can see it sometime next year. Im always game for another GTA....

If it comes out on the current consoles I wouldn't bet on it as they're all still stuck on directX 9 and will hold back the PC version.

Heh. If GTA V would be made in DX 11, it would be unfair to those who have XP, that is, to most people.

I would like to see in GTA V more aircrafts and more cities and locations.

They wouldn't only make it directX 11, I think all games that currently support 11 at least support 9 and maybe 10 as well. Also anyone that wants to run gta 5 will have to have a reasonably good machine anyway so there's really no reason to be running XP.

gta5 would require atleast 2gb of graphics
i guess that would be bad for people.

Goodness, they'd better fix the notorious crappy graphics, getting pretty tired of them. I don't even own any GTA games though, so I probably shouldn't talk. BTW, 350th post!

What do you mean? GTA 4 nearly exclusively received 9/10 and 10/10 ratings on graphics.

Very true however there are texture packs out which allow you to essentialy 'upgrade' the current graphics to much more high end ones which look very impressive.

Rockstar are too much about the money and I think a beta will be out bu the end of 2011 if not start of Q1 2012.
