Hello Does anybody know if it is possible to run OSX Lion on an ordinary computer like what has been done with Snow Leopard and Chameleon, iatkos, iboot, multibeast ( ...) ?

It is possible! I had it installed on my Machine. All you need is one of the Lion installation disks, a Mac, USB-stick (maybe 2 or extra partition) and patience. There are a lot of tutorials online for installing it. I removed it because it didn't work with Chameleon and it crashed all the time (that's why it's a DP). You'll get the most results on searching "lion hackintosh". Happy installing, it takes a lot of time

Not to be rude or anything, but viewtopic.php?f=12&t=17888. Like this post says, you would be better off asking at the InsanelyMac forums, or other hackintosh help site. Since I've used hackintoshes however, it is only a matter of time before 10.7 gets onto OSx86 machines everywhere

I've always been up for a go at hackintohing, if that's a word! Ever since Tiger worked on an x86 machine, I've tried my best to get a stable OS X system on a PC. Even though I primarily use Macs, I think hackintoshes are a good idea- cheaper than Macs and they can be just as stable. I've given Lion a go on what I thought was a stable hackintosh (turned out only with Leopard/Snow Leopard)! As Creadskel said, it is possible, just not stable (yet). As Lion is distributed as a .app installer, it is more difficult to do a hackintosh install, however you can get it to work. You'll need a Mac (or working hackintosh) as Creadskel said- to be able to transfer stuff etc. An external drive (partitioned) is also a good way to go. The method I used was I used my Mac Pro to install Lion to the drive, then used Chameleon/iBoot to get it to work on my PC. Unfortunately, anyone with an EFI-X chip (like me), has to use the software-form of booting it. EFI-X is yet to be compatible with Lion, and we'll probably see an update for it closer to or after Lion's release. For the time being, I wouldn't bother trying to run it on your PC, as its quite unstable (as I said), but don't be afraid to give it a go if you want to try it but don't be expecting it to be great. I'm also sure you could have a look around the internet for more info on installing it as people have said.

Ok first off, InsanelyMac. Second, it is pretty easy to do if you have previous Hackintosh experience. You need a clean, formatted drive, Lion disk, and iBoot + MultiBeast. There are many guides on how to do it.

What hardware are you running that on?
I tried several Lion Hackintosh Tutorials, and couldn't get anything but a KP.
Retail SnowLeopard (with EmpireEFI) works just beautifully on my rig, but not Lion............

Again: If you have questions about hackintoshs, please ask at Insanelymac or somewhere else.
But probably you got only a KP because you were using an older version of the bootloader. Newest Chameleon builds do work pretty fine (tried it on 3 machines of mine and all run the Lion DP just fine)
