yea having the same problem. it only happens on some sites. sad thing is flash videos with audio works fine on firefox and chrome which doesn't crash doesnt work well with flash. it plays the video but doesn't output the sound.
ie9 works like a charm though
This got mentioned before, this is due to Chrome's flash built-in and incompatible with Windows 8. Just go to About:plugins and expand the list, then disable the Chrome flash but keep the installed flash that firefox uses and it works.

Unlikely. Too many hundreds/thousands of people have it now. They can't do anything. Also some people believe the leaks are a publicity stunt by Microsoft too, how true that is we'll probably never know.

Yeah, sometimes that's the case but I don't think even if someone actually leaks the OS, it should hurt Microsoft in any way. Microsoft actually gets a way to show off their OS in development and it's new features. The average computer user isn't even aware of the leak. Each new leaked build excites me to an extent and actually makes me wish Windows 8 was already here, I'll probably buy the Final version when it gets released instead of waiting for it to be cracked

It's likely the people who moan. I saw an article on the new explorer feature to drop folders on the breadcrumb bar, and MANY members started going on about they are not buying Windows 8 for a feature like that and it's pointless and so on. People like that think a testing feature means final.

They're probably gonna feel stupid if Windows 8 gets successful.

My theory has always been that Microsoft likely intentionally leaks its betas just to see how people crack/red-pill it, so they can perfect their anti-piracy measures before release. (As opposed to, say, KB971033, AKA "The Update Even Legit Users Didn't Install") Plus, it's an easy way to get a lot of feedback from the computer geek community (read: us) If they can succeed in keeping their betas' time bombs uncrackable, it's a win-win situation for them, really, if you think about it.

Think about it, there's not been any software and copy protection up to date that has not been uncrackable. There's always a way to go around copy protections, their design is to allow the user to use the product if it's valid, but that is also its absolute weakness, since it's easy to cheat it. Or just to disable it.

Starting to see people saying the builds won't activate with win 7 beta keys anymore, anyone try lately?
It worked for me yesterday on a clean 7955 install on real hardware. I enetred the Beta Key during the installation & 7955 auto activated after a couple of PC restarts.

is because some people replace slc dll before to activate.

Could be for some, but the issue I was referring to had something to do with MS activation servers, seems to be working intermittenly, mine just activated a few mins ago finally.

I agree with your comment about the MS activation servers. I tried a couple of times earlier on with a W7 Beta key without success, but have now successfully activated with the same key.

Use BluePill, the only one that works flawlessly for me. You NEED to do a clean install, activate, then run bluepill as admin; unlocked, MSE is genuine, MCE and SystemCPL work
