As said, VirtualBox has issues with the addons. makes Windows 8 slow graphics wise =/
Cant wait for 64-bit release. That wil be when I use it as a main OS
Just as with Windows Vista and 7, you have to boot into Safe Mode to install the Guest Additions; otherwise, Windows File Protection interferes.
I have it installed on a *spare* hard drive in a dual-boot with 7 x64 and it's plenty fast enough (faster than either Windows 7 SP1 (7601) or 7850, despite the slower SATA HDD). The quibbles are expected - some issues with IE 9 and add-ins/plug-ins therefore, Norton 360 overzealously eats two files critical to 7955's changed networking stack (I switched to Avast 6 due to that - MSE won't install due to the OS itself being too different). ISOs (in addition to VHDs) mount directly (so much for virtual-disk/drive utilities, such as VirtualCloneDrive or Daemon Tools) - this is something that even 7601 doesn't do. You can burn ISOs directly, but not mount them, in 7601.

After a few bad installs, I got this working in VBox 4.0.4, with 2.3GB RAM 128MB graphics and the "Intel PRO MT Desktop" for my network connections, the PCNet network adaptors for some reason would not work with me
also got Red-pill working and unlocked the pattern logon
I haven't tried any of the other features yet

That horrible oompa loompa thing in the lockscreen is so ugly and disgusting I had to turn the ctrl-alt-del logon off, I couldn't bear to look at it any longer...

Whatever you try to do on VMware for M2, it wont' work, just do it on VirtualBox.

hmm no. scroll speed is as good as my win 7. i haven't seen any lag. are you using a wireless or Bluetooth mouse? if so try adjusting your dpi settings.

hope this helps.
its because it uses software rendering for aero which uses a lot of cpu. if you Control-Shift-F9 to turn it off, then it is full speed again. You can still get some elements of aero lite with it
(Had this trouble on my old pentium 933 with 512mb ram i tried it on with a ati rage pro graphics card.
