Favourite OS Microsoft Windows 8, build 7956
I finally got my hands on the public torrent... the download speed is HORRIBLY slow... (Maybe because i´m not the only one downloading...)
The download is at 0,1%... ETA 3 days... And download speed 9,7kb/s.
Is this build traceable?
I hope they unlock the Metro UI logon soon...
The leaks are happening almost like windows 7... One leak each 2 weeks.
This means the 7971 build COULD leak in May... Let´s see...

Could someone help me? I got an Error message with IMG burn whilst burning first DVD. Then I burned the DVD successfully and My drive is now having difficulties reading discs! My laptop is covered but if it's sent of it takes ages to repair.

Is it all disks or just that one?
Its possible the drive failed. I know my sisters laptop had an issue like that. Check the Device Manager, what you should also do is after burning a disk have it verified to make sure it can READ all the data.

This is probably a better question for the manufacturer's technical support. Try checking google with your drive or laptop's model number to see if other users have similar issues. Again, this is most likely unrelated to the Windows leak, and more related to the drive itself.

DVD burning for operating systems should NEVER be done at max speed. Try half speed or even slower to get better results.

Again the disks might be bad. Especially if they are re-writable. An iso is an iso. the files inside the ISO shouldnt make a difference.

Also, consider that your download of 7955 could be corrupt. User the ISO Verifier at http://www.windows8center.com to verify the iso was not corrupted during download.

Might I suggest that you guys who want to use this as a main OS use a 4 GB Flash drive to do so. Then you wont have to worry about discs and corrupt data.
Also is much faster than discs.
