Sounds a bit excessive to get something every laptop/desktop+webcam computer can do. The only time you could walk around with a mirror infront of your iPhone would be indoors, as if you did it outside you'd look foolish. And If you're indoors, why not use your PC? All seem's a bit pointless to me.

There's a reason why FaceTime doesn't work on the 3GS. It's nice to know that the feature can be unlocked, but ultimately the practicality of using it is just silly.

I have tried it for about 30 seconds only to find out what I already thought. It is really worthless and runs horrible.

an easier way would be to:

1. Get an iPhone 4
2. Get a Mac with OS X 10.6.6 or higher with a webcam and buy the Facetime app from the App Store.

I think i saw a tweak in Cydia that enables facetime for the iPhone 3gs. Correct me if i am wrong.

It can be enabled. You can search on google on how to do it...
