Right, I'm trying desperately to sell my old desktop computer, does any of you lot want it?

Dell Inspiron 531 Desktop Computer

- Dell/ASUS M2N61-AX Motherboard (Specs here) (4x USB, 7.1 HD Audio, 1xPCIe x16, 1xPCIe, 2xPCI)
- AMD Athlon Live! 64 X2 5000+ - 2.66Ghz (Specs here)
- 4GB DDR2-667 RAM (4x1GB)
- NVidia GeForce 9500GT PCIe Graphics (2x DVI, can't find a spare DVI-VGA adaptor) 512MB GDDR3 (I think)
- BestTec 350W PSU
- DVD-RW DL / CD-RW Drive
- Seagate (sorry, that's all I had spare) 160GB SATA Hard Drive

The one thing that's missing is a memory card reader/floppy drive. I don't have a spare. I don't have any spare card backplates either, but that's only cosmetic.

Case has 4x USB ports (one of them is hit and miss though) as well as mic and headphone jack.

Case has a genuine Microsoft Windows Vista Home Premium licence key, and has Vista installed. It will run Windows 7 happily!

Picture is here: http://flupl.com/b/0111nDgh.jpg
Sorry, no fruit. I'm not getting it out the box and taking a picture just to have fruit. I'm not going to scam you. If you're that cautious I can put it on ebay for you so you can use eBay protection.

Price: £200 ono (or nearest offer).
If you are in Bristol, UK (or nearby), you can collect it from me. Otherwise I will post it for £20 extra via ParcelForce.

Anyone interested. I'm prepared to negotiate a price!

Yes it does.

One small nag I've had with this system, Ubuntu 10.04 plays funny buggers and doesn't always like to load the GUI setup on the Live CD. 9.04 worked fine though.

Another issue, is the Vista Licence is a x86 licence. I do not have a x64 licence. So you would have to deal with 3.5GB RAM limit unless you upgrade.

I've left the vista installation as bare as possible, all I've done is installed windows updates, drivers and MSE.

No-one bought the last one in auction, and to be honest I wouldn't have been happy selling at £100. It's now relisted as buy it now, £180
