So I got back to work and started to create something better, and different - The Future of Longhorn Linux is this transformation pack , And in a few days , i had something i really thought was better .
I reworked allot of the graphics from better sources , (hounsell , i won't stop developing until I make something with linux you deem 'not half bad' )
I know some of the Icons Are Currently windows 7 but i am working on that :
what do you think ?

Wow! I like everything (except Nautilus design), just everything! And it's Linux too!
what don't you like about the nautilus design (i know at the moment it is a bit boring , empty , missing longhorn features (the coloured preview bar thingy's) but I can't do much cause I don't really code C ++ Or Python to write a plugin for nautilus , however it is Work in progress

is this compatible with any linux or distro specific ?
If I'm correct..., the website, lhlinux.org says this...
Quote:
Longhorn Linux is a modification of the Ubuntu Linux operating system, to make it look and feel like Windows Longhorn.
And since the downloads are huge, I'm guessing it's preloaded only just for Ubuntu?
yeah it is ubuntu with that installed , lhlinux was canceled a month back ,and changed into a transformation pack , At the mo it is only working on ubuntu however i might do a fedora/opensuse port , and mabi an arch linux port .

I think the style will be for all systems with gnome (ofc linux)
the style it'sself will work on all linux distros , however things like nautilus and aero GTK are in .deb's and will require allot of porting
