You can play self-burned CDROMS on almost every DC. Halflife for DC was the origin of the graphics update.
A Dreamcast isn't that high-end anymore but it is a bit difficult to play on a PC or Android phone. Because of the Saturn 3D Pad derived controller. Compaq even made a "Notebook Replacement" PDA using the same CPU.

If the Dreamcast was manufactured after September 2000, the .iso has to be DATA/DATA not AUDIO/DATA.
