IE 1.5 running on Windows 7 x64. The older versions before IE became integrated with Windows actually run. This is a 32bit build for NT4. It wouldn't actually load betaarchive, google worked, so I used a saved copy of betaarchive.

Lemme guess, you used a standalone version of IE?
Yes, but its pretty hard to find something that will run on Windows 7 x64. Anything from about IE4 or newer will refuse to run because they were heavily OS integrated and Vista and 7 are missing components to run IE4-IE6 standalones. Then its hard to find a purely 32-bit build of IE3 or older. The NT4 builds are the best, anything for Windows 3.x refuses to run since its 16 bit.

I got this one day after a restart after installing Windows XP SP3 (update to SP3) on my PC.
This was just soooo funny, it was really just a prank my friend put on there before I updated.

I put this on a school computer and you wouldn't believe how many idiots clicked on it and crashed the computer. I mapped the icon to a program on the school network drive so it wouldn't be detected on the computer is self.

When i fired up my Whistler 2428 emulator, i noticed the date on MSN was January of 2001. Thinking I had stumbled upon an internet wormhole, i set out to conquer the internet, only to find out it was just MSN who used the date of the computer (which had to be changed to use whistler) instead of those pesky internet servers that are always wrong.
It's not a Whistler 2428 Emulator, your running Whistler 2428 in a Virtual PC Program.

Lemme guess, atom.smasher.org? I use that site, and I can easily tell that message is fake. Windows errors don't have customizable buttons.
You caught me
