Hello! I have a problem with installing Vista 5112 on real hardware. When I boot the computer from CD, I click the Install Windows button and after a moment this error message appears:
Code:
An error occured while setting the image info
My PC specs are: MSI P4VM800 motherboard, Intel Celeron D 331 CPU, 1,2 GB of RAM, 250 GB SATA hard disk. Can the SATA hard disk cause this error? Error message appears before the disk selection screen.

I have also an ATA hard disk, but this error message appears before disk selection screen. I've tried also builds 5219, 5231, 5259 and 5270, and the problem remains.

maybe try a reburn, its the only thing i can think of, specially if its happening to that many builds..and if you burned all the other builds the same way, might have to switch sumthin up a bit..

Reburn? You'd have to be extremely unlucky to get 4 badly burned builds.
Doesn't it have something to do with IDE or SCSI?
i dont know if i would call it extremely unlucky or not, but i have had the same thing happen to me before, burned 13 builds in one day half didnt work and needed to be reburned, blame the media or stupity..it happens..i found any burn issues i had were due to the media i was using...buy cheap CDR's and you get what you pay for, spend a little bit more burn em a bit slower and you'll see your collection last a lot longer...just saying. if the builds install fine in VMware then obviously there is another issue..
