Hey, I was wondring if any distro of Hackintosh would work on my new laptop? (I'm not requesting links to downloads, or anything illegal, just asking a question). Here are it's specs:

AMD V120 Processor @ 2.20GHz
ATI Mobility Radeon HD 4250
AMD 785GX Chipset
AMD SB850 SouthBridge
2GB System RAM
250GB HDD

this is BA not "hackintosh" or "insanely mac"

Actually, not for anything but in my humble opinion that was pretty rude. Remember, you can always get your message across more politely.

To answer the actual question for you, I don't think you'll have problems in a graphics card sense, but your CPU and chipset may cause problems. RAM and HDD are fine, but definitely check out the OSx86 project for a bit more of a definitive answer

Are you running on IDE? Or SATA?
In any case, get an AMD Snow Leopard distro. Vanilla is deffo not an option.

It has two modes: IDE mode and AHCI mode.

Gotta be SATA.

Anyways, go with a SL distro, you're going nowhere with vanilla. Any distro is OK as long as it's AMD-capable.

Not to hijack the thread, but while we're talking about Hackintoshing I'm wondering if perhaps there's a suitable SL distro for the Acer Aspire 5735?

You'd be able to install Vanilla with standard boot-132, but you'll have no QE/CI.
