Well, I think it was these spammers' on 4chan revenge!

It happened on the IRC and FTP (FailNet IRC)

From what I saw it was some kind of datacenter problem because larger portions of OVH went down, including servers that weren't connected on the same subnet as BA.

ZOMG BA was down! My life was totally halted while BA was down, I didn't know what to do with myself... so I resorted to sitting in my kitchen with all the lights out and the window shades down eating Splenda packets until it came back.

Sites go down all the time, the admins here keep the uptime of the site extremely high, boo hoo if BA is down for a hour, maybe you could go play you favourite game, or go out and play with your friends.

that's what i meant before,i was playing some of my games when BA was down and i didn't know that BA was down in that moment...

My personal server goes down all the time due to planned power outages and Bell Canada's [censored] services, and I really don't give a crap even though it handles my mail...

we can't being desperate if BA comes down,life isn't computer only,so if BA comes down again,go out of your computer for a while to do something good(such as study,if you're a student like me) in your real life.

Come on, it went down. All sites do that sometimes. As Andy has said before, it will be sorted out ASAP, it happens rarely and it's never going to be for long. My website's down a lot more and I don't complain. TBH I'm thinking of bringing it down for good.

I can confirm it was a datacentre issue, the biggest OVH have ever experienced with cascading router failures.
