nice logo.

When I was testing the ISO I made, it seems that something didn't work right. What happened looks like the hard disk is locked to read-only and BOOT.INI doesn't have /hal=halacpim.dll like I set it up to be, causing the lockup (well, that and having the HDD locked to read-only I think). So, it looks like PantherXP is out of the question. A Virtual PC 2007 VHD will be provided instead.
it will be big(more than 1GB?)

you don't have to edit setup use MSFN's tutorial with $OEM folder for T-12/13 stage to get all your files copied/added/overwritten and settings applied before OS boots for first time
its so much easier just little CMD/BAT knowledge is needed
heck if you disable SFC (and later re-enable it at T-13) i386 installer is quicker than WIM

Well for now, I'm still going to distribute the current release as VHD. Why? Because I already have it packed and ready for release.
Another thing for information is communication. For this, a prototype "Communication Center" will be added to the Info Now 2010 M2 release.
Things done for 3815.winmain_m1:
Notepad replaced, but the old Microsoft version still available as oldnotepad (or something like that)
Added a prototype Information Grabber that sort of works. You can browse the web in it, but you're using MSIE. Hey, this is a prototype after all
Mostly clientized Server 2003. Still has some remnants of Server 2003 left over in it. Requires VLK.
Download: I'll upload it (or try to) tonight so check back here tomorrow for a download link. I hope ALPC holds out EDIT: Well, ALPC broke after 17MB worth of transfer. So no release yet. I'll see about using FileFactory and see if that's worth anything.

Just a minor update (has it been three days yet?), 3185.winmain has been released to testers today. Check back here in one week for a download link. Why one week? So the testers can find bugs and so I can inform you all of them when I release it to all

Meant to look slightly like the 'underwater' one from 7 betas. It's not apple!
That's original Apple logo, yeaaah:
Ohhhhh...
My first private build of the INAIK is complete. This will be the base for the Info Now Automated Install Kit, allowing people [ultimately] to take advantage of the stable, lightweight NTOSDrop core, already packaged into a feature-rich operating system that can function in a variety of situations, for servers and desktop PCs. It will allow you to automatically make modifications and compile applications and create Preinstallation Environment CDs based on the INAIK branch. Build 6201 is complete, but is private and all builds will be private until the AIK components are in a working, alpha, state. The system itself is beta; there are a few bugs that need to be ironed out and it comes in quite big, at around 740MB for a maximum compression WIM. It uses the Tango Patcher for a new icon theme, but branding is not yet complete [rather like early builds of Neptune and Whistler that still said 2000]. There is a compatibility mode in the boot options menu for running version-specific installers and programs such as VMWare Tools, this reverts to 5.2.3790. The full build string at present is 5.8.6201.INAIK.100703-1243, actually built at 1:53 due to summer time. I will provide screenshots soon, of the installer, system, control panel and AIK Setup, which is currently pre-alpha i.e. I have not put any code in yet

Remember for NTOSDrop, you have to commit to SVN to make it better, otherwise, I have to do all the work, (and I don't really like that in community projects... )

I've decided to release 3815.winmain_m1 early. This is a Virtual PC 2007 VHD since I couldn't pack it into a WIM. Just make a new VM, use this as the VHD and run.

Only changes were build numbers.
I'm making progress; here is my screenshot:
Sorry about the funny colours again. It's starting to work; I'm going to add some of the modifications that linuxlove did to make it similar and I'm going to add some more applications. As you can also see, it identifies itself as XP, making server tools useless, and the system more user friendly because users know what XP is.
There used to be a picture behind the login screen, don't know where that's gone.
No CTRL+ALT+DEL for login; there's no password on Administrator by default either. COnfuses me, I always type my default password.

not to be rude but you should make changes to OS instead changing just build numbers and theme and then posting it here as "update" -_-
I've made loads of changes now, it's considerably more stable and clientised and the INAIK will be available as alpha soon. just need to do that and branding and I will have a public release.

srsly guys but tbh what has 2k3RTM to do with cougar or neptune or odysee??? IF you want to work on those OSes you should actually work on THEM and not on an other OS and just castrate it....

This isn't any of those any more. This is a separate project. We need NTOSDrop; and so we use it; it can't boot any other OS; not even XP [2600] because of data structure changes between XP and 2k3. It will boot any build 3790 so XP 64-bit will work. It would even probably work with Longhorn 3790.

I have yet to upload any of my builds. I will have to ask people to PM me for a link as providing one directly would be breaking the rules as Windows Server 2003 is not abandonware.
