Why is Windows 1.x, 2.x, 3.x, 95, or 98 even an option? Do you really expect anybody to be using those as their primary on this forum?
I still use those on a regular basis. I'm trying to fix a WfW3.11 install now.
So you use Windows 3.11 as your primary operating system? You know, the one you use to get actual work done?
No, but I still use it. OS X 10.6.2 is my primary.
Then my point still stands. This topic was discussing what OS you use as your primary. Thank you, neonsonicboy.
I use that and XP, and WfW3.11 [and Vista while I think about it] as frequently, 3.11 and Vista in VMs, the other two on real machines. As frequently as OS X which makes them all primary OSes. I also use Ubuntu less frequently, but as you point out that would not be primary.

Favourite OS Windows Neptune & Longhorn
Haha who would use Windows 1.x as primary operation system? Probably it won't even install on my computer as the hardware is too new .
I use Windows 7 all the time, on all my computers. Works great: it's fast, looks good and has some nice new functions (such as the Windows key + arrow hotkeys)

Bah, where is Gentoo or FreeBSD?
Gentoo sucks, especially its flags system. It's much better in FreeBSD. Besides, let's face it: Gentoo is dying. No developers and constant arguments between those who are still developing Gentoo aren't helping. And FreeBSD has already reputation as rock stable, suitable for both desktops and server OS.
