Welcome to the betascollector's OS Discussion
I Will make my OS discussion here and everybody can tell your OS Projects.

Let's start:
I will make project OS named "Microsoft Jaguar Project" that is based on Windows 3.1/Windows 3.11.
What application that can edit 16-bit Windows 3.1 software?
EDIT: Using Borland Workshop!

i'm gonna start working on a project. still haven't came up with a name for it yet. it's just for fun. no idea what i'm really gonna do with it. i'm decided it will either be based on Windows XP SP2/SP3, Fedora, Slackware, or Arch Linux. i haven't decided yet. i'll probably go with XP since it will support a ton of software.

but that's it so far. it's in planning stages atm. might start working on it today.

Go with a free Linux distro, (yes, there seem to be non-free ones,) & look for free alternative software to what what only XP would have, for legality.

I am trying to make a lite version of Windows Longhorn. I am willing to edit 4074, but I may have to edit 4051, but they are basically the same anyways :p

I've made custom versions of these, for production use.

1. Windows 3.11 (since 1995), Windows 3.0 + Word 2.x + exasp 4.0
2. PC DOS 6.3, 7.0,
3. Windows NT 4.0

These are current projects

MS-DOS 6,22/7.10 (with various kernels), PC-DOS 7.1/7.00/6.30

I built a fully slipstreamed PC-DOS 6.30 (look at it on vetusware!).
