So I guess you've been seeing the amount of posts I've been making recently :P (About Custom OSes)

Well I geuss this Info finding has worked out well because I present to you:
Image

My First Custom OS!!

Based on Windows XP Professional (SP3)
The Objective of the OS
o To Provide a Customizable OS (For those who wish it to be customizable)
o To Provide a Easy User Experience (Mix between Inexperence Patcher and XP UI)
o For a Fast OS for Web Browsing (Chrome for Browsing,Flash Player and Wi-Fi Supported)

So those where the objectives
Now for some Screenshots

1: The Winver:

2: Youtube (With Flash)
http://www.betaarchive.co.uk/imageuploa ... .25251.jpg

BUT! The downside is?

How Do I remaster this into a ISO?

It seems it's based on Win 2000, but, anyway.
To make this into an ISO, use sysprep and then xImage (4059 or 5112 preferably).

And why all you pick Microsoft Store's logo?

Hmm...That was the after-marth of inexperience patcher

Thanks for the advice anyway Pwned

I Picked the MS Store logo...Because I wanted something different than plain old Windows Flag. And I liked it :P

Haha, that's why I chose the Microsoft Store logo on my Windows Tokyo project. It just kind of has a charm to it.

Update 1 (or Beta 1)

So Not much has changed...except the decision to include the longhorn slate theme (Credit to Deviant-art)
I guess I'll be posting screens here and now...and other info (When I can) when there is a update

Screens:
1: Longhorn-ish Startmenu (Need to work on that!)
http://www.betaarchive.co.uk/imageuploa ... .80466.jpg
2: Its still there!
http://www.betaarchive.co.uk/imageuploa ... .19700.jpg

And soon I'll upload the VHD to either
A) Windows Live
B) Some other sharing site

Good idea, maybe remake the Slate theme with every graphic from scratchso asnot to use copyrighted graphics. And just use free software.

So...After trying to mod ReactOS (And I mean Trying)
I think I might switch to a Linux Core...and rename the project: Project Gamma
Because using Copyright(ed) Material is bad and not what I really wanted!
So Can I ask for your veiws on switching to linux?

Aw. You can install Wine or it's derivatives, (PlayOnLinux, CrossOver, etc. - although CrossOver costs money,) on Linux, but ReactOS, an OS meant to be Windows compatable, is a lot better for installing the software you used in the XP-based builds... but I guess if you tried & it's not working it's okay

I used it on VBox. Forget if it was laggy or not, but either wway it's a better OS for this kinda project in the long run.
