As for messy desktops, I remember having installed so many programs from many sources on Microsoft Windows 95 OSR 2, and in the next year, I had again installed so many programs (especially from software CD-ROM collections from places like PC World and PC Magazine) on Microsoft Windows 98 Second Edition that both desktops (640x480, High Color) were severely cluttered with icons everywhere. And this was at a very low resolution, at the time, the average was probably about 800x600.

You wouldn't have believed how messy those desktops of mine were back then.

Anyway, my desktop is mostly the same as I posted it earlier, I'm quite happy with the current settings.

I took it myself using the lock button + home button combo, then used the ImageShack uploader app to upload it.
