Howdy all,
Yup, you guessed it, the Wiki is back!
Unfortunately the previous database is gone forever, but I won't make the same mistake again. We're using MyISAM database tables now instead of InnoDB which is what caused this problem last time. That probably doesn't mean much to most of you, but just put it this way, the DB won't be lost this time
So, get onto the wiki and start adding content. The old images are still available (and have been for some time) in the photo gallery under "Wiki Images", so if you made an article last time and want to make the same one again, your images should be there for you to use.
If you have any suggestions, please go ahead and make them.

First, thanks for re-activating the wiki.
Now, let's get the naming straight: name:version.subversion:detailed build string That's my suggestion, almost like in the old wiki, just some small changes to not get lost in all those Windows builds. name - name of the product, ex. Windows version - version of the product, ex. 95, or Vista, or 3, so we get Windows:95, Windows:Vista, Windows:3 subversion - if we have Windows 3.11, the article should be Windows:3.11 of course, when we have Windows 95 OSR2, it would be Windows:95.OSR2 detailed build string - yes, i mean FULL build string, with lab, date, time (older windows builds didn't have it, so it would be just a build number for them). K?

Yes, it's possible in MediaWiki software
EDIT: i may sound a bit rude with all the articles moving that i'm performing now, but i used to run another wiki about beta software and it's the naming system that worked the best, it's improved version of previous BA's wiki's naming system... And sorry that i act a bit like a sysop

Wow, surprise surprise. I knew it would happen, how soon was the question. As a result you now have to PM me to get an account on the Wiki. The rules for access are 3 months on the forum and Advanced Members access. Contact me with a request and as soon as I have time I'll make the account on the Wiki for you. The password will be random and you can probably change it once you get access (haven't tried, but I assume you can).
The homepage is locked to Sysops only, which are myself and fzajac at present. fzajac was a Sysop on the previous Wiki too, so I fully trust his high level access.
