My spare PC now has 1GB of RAM, at the expense of tearing apart it's doppelganger for another identical RAM chip. someday i'll bring it up to it's max of 2GB...
I got it running a hacked up version of XP (Longhorn 4074 dislikes SATA, and the only non-SATA drive i have is 6GB) that resembles LH.

Windows 7 in both cases. Ubuntu machine is pretty much just same wallpaper as the first one with white bar along bottom with just text "Application Places System ..... (Date/Time)" (no icons).
