okay, this was my speed, they upped the download to an actual of 7.6MB/s while the burst speed is the same. The way the burst works is simple. The first meg of a file that is downloaded is really fast, faster than the ordinary burst, after that, if it keeps going, it gets the benefit of the burst, if not, it went really fast. I also think it has something to do with which port the traffic goes through

well, comcast seems intent on upping my dl speed, but keeping my upload speed constant. They have upped the actual download speed to 8MB/s, up from 7.6
