TweakNT to remove the timebomb, and a cracked winlogon.exe to remove the activation nags (Not allowed on the forum, I'll PM it to you.)
Wait, are they allowed, I forget...

Cracks/hacks are not allowed. You can discuss, but not post the actual files.

Thought so. Just ran a quick forum search and dug up an old thread, from before the rules were re-written, contains links to patched winlogon.exe files from JoeJoe.org, if its against the rules you might wanna go back and take out the links.

Can't be bothered going and finding all the topics that break the current rules. Remember rules are followed from when they go into effect not for topics in the past.

Alright, would it be against the rules to post a link to the thread that has links to the files in it?

Thanks and apologies if my post broke board rules. I'll be careful to make sure it doesn't happen again.

I actually found both solutions last night but didn't have to come here and say so.

Thanks, but I get to this step:

4. Type: Select Disk 0

And it says There is no disk selected. Please select a disk and try again.

After that the rest of the instructions fall to pieces.

EDIT: Managed to run the instructions but after rebooting it says Missing Operating system_

If you are using a SATA drive, you will probably need to run the SATA in IDE Mode for compatibility purposes.

Just tried it. Still getting the same error after the reboot.

georgia works with 1996, too. Maybe it ever works, when you choose an earlier date
