Now... you really proved to me that you are a BIG jerk! You should have stopped spamming me at the time I said I didn't want you to spam me. Mow I'll let my ISP know that your site is full of [censored] and he'll block it so that noone has the ability to visit it in my country, just because you SPAM... A LOT! Moreover, I will block you ASAP on my e-mail client, so that I don't hear (get SPAM) from you anymore. Have a nice "adminning"... JERK!

Some people ... I dunno it suprises me how irrational they can be. That guy must of signed up here at some point so he should change the email or get his account deleted as Andy offered to do.

Andy, I do mass email advertising where I work and this happens every now and then. We ask customers for there e-mails and clearly tell them what we plan to do with it. Most of the time they get helpful tips and coupons for our products so Im not sure why, but every now and then someone gets really upset and decides to send a nasty reply e-mail. We even have an easy way for them to unsubscribe if they want to, but I think some people just want to prove a point or something.
BTW now that Im on the subject, what do you use for doing mass emails. Do you have something that comes with your hosting or do you have a special program. Im always interested in input, because the program we have at work is junk and someday we want to upgrade.

On the site I'm a mod on we get stuff like that all the time, it's the internet. Some people have a really bad life so they go out and whine on the internet.

phpBB has it built in, so that's what I use. I do my own hosting remember So it can't be a script that comes with my hosting
You could make yourself a simple php script and flat file text database for e-mail lists. Wouldn't be too hard if you had the know-how. I actually have a newsletter mailing script on BA somewhere from when I attempted a newsletter, but that never took off.

No, every user on the site was automatically subscribed, but there was simply no information to put on it, as no users wanted to contribute. Now the forum has grown over triple what it was, there isn't really any need for one anymore.

I lol at that message. It's really funny being an Admin... You get all of these e-mails stating either threats, unban requests, spam, Angry messages, I'm leaving posts, I'm back posts... Etc.

That makes sense that u do your own hosting, I should have known. I actaully have some script for email lists that comes with my hosting but its a little hard to figure out when youre new at it.
