THERE WAS A SEQUEL?!?! I thought that the kitchyness had been spent in this and the "Windows 95 introduction" by Jennifer Aniston and Matthew Perry.
But yeah, "Don't Copy that Floppy" has reached immortal status as the first signs of public awareness against computer piracy. We've come a long way since then (Napster, AudioGalaxy, KaZaa, LimeWire, eDonkey/eMule and now BitTorrent has been the "piracy path" for me!).

LOL, this [censored] is very annoying and senseless, this stupid [censored] videos won't stop pirates.
True, but maybe back in the 90s there wasn't as much awareness as there is today. Maybe copying something and giving it to a friend was normal to people and no one would ever think that was illegal. Things are much different now.

In the first video the person who said that copyright law allows you to use no more than one copy of copyrighted software and exactly one backup coppy is wrong.
The number of copies you're legally permitted to use depends on the License Agreement.

Yeah, I saw this video and the sequel. They were both funny, especially the first one. Notice how the rapper in the 1st video dances xD. Anyway I think the first video, "Don't Copy That Floppy", would be the new Rick Roll for pirates on YouTube when they are trying to look for stuff that are copyright infringement like activating stuff videos.

Remember, this video was made during the mid 1990s or something so the common license agreement might be different than today's license agreement.
