I think he's referring to sites like dell.com and so on where you can find drivers, but no, I doubt they'll have old ROMs or anything like that.

there i found the drivers only as standalone and not the old versions since 1998-2003

Why would you want old versions of drivers all packaged in to one, when you can just download the newest versions individually?

Maybe the same reason why people collect OS beta's/abonware ?
You collect them why don't you just download WIndows 7?

I have several old CDs that came with motherboards I bought (ASUS P3B-F, ASUS CUBX, etc). If you really want them I could probably upload them somewhere. I don't think there's really anything exciting on them, some very outdated drivers, utilities and the manuals.
