Looking for official beta discs. Doesn't matter how rare or common, I just want them. I guess I'm starting to collect beta discs.
Can be optical media or floppy; doesn't matter.

It's probably better to buy CDs or DVDs and copy isos to them.

Yes, but I'd like to have the official released media.

I see what you mean. I'd love to have the real thing too, but not many people have them. Like me. I have none! :P

Try ebay or kijiji. It probably going to be hard to find beta disks.

I have a whole shelf full of Windows Server 2003 for Small Business R2.
If anyone wants one, I'll be happy to send some out.

Where do you want to go today?

Favourite OS
All Microsoft operating systems!
Occasionally I've seen beta CD-ROMs on eBay. In February 2008, I was able to purchase the Windows 95 Migration Planning Kit along with the Microsoft Office for Windows 95 Pre-Release, a two CD-ROM set, which I only had to pay $10 dollars for (it was an auction where no one else bidded for the set, and I could easily see that no one was going to bid on it), and it arrived a little bit late, around March 20th or something like that. I later released it here (in case you don't know, it was a more complete copy of Chicago Build 490, with the entire CD-ROM contents and the Microsoft Office for Windows 95 Pre-Release).

I have also found beta CD-ROMs (all MSDN/TechNet so far) at a certain technology college's technology sale (the college is about an hour away), so if you know of any such sales, you should try checking there as well.

Unfortunately, eBay doesn't allow the selling of beta software, but I have seen some sellers get away with it.

As long as it's official MS and beta, I'll think about getting it

It sounds like the free 180 day trial version of SBS 2003 R2 that you could order from MS a while ago, not a beta version. You can take the Outlook 2003 disc/key out of that pack and sell it separately for not a bad price though, as it is a full VLK version of Outlook and not a trial (or at least the ones I've had have been, the FrontPage 2003 in the non-R2 versions of the pack used to be a full version as well but in the R2 pack they'd changed it to a retail disc but with a trial key on the sticker, so it's worth checking they didn't stop providing full versions with it).

I got some pre-release floppies of Windows 95 I don't need anymore. These disks contain beta 3, build 347, but unfortunately the set is incomplete (only have disk 1 - 10, 11-15 are missing).
I guess they are kinda rare, haven't seen them elsewhere...

(Sorry for the dip on the pic, couldn't find any vegetables)

If you don't need them, I'm sure linuxlove would find them interesting even if they are incomplete. Where did you get them anyway?

I have some discs from the Vista betas, and a few like Centro beta. They're from MS, but all they are are blank DVD-Rs with name printed on and some basic pattern.

If I find them, anyone willing to pay shipping is welcome.

Man I would kill for an original LH disc. You should scan it, so someone can print it and pretend they have a real one :P
