Well time to update mine this will be a long post though. Main pc. Family PC: AMD Sempron 2400+ 1.67GHZ Socket A 768MB RAM with 64MB going to on board video so that means 704MB. Seagate Barracuda 9 160GB IDE HDD Main Maxtor 40GB IDE HDD Doesn't do much. No name non dual layer 8x DVD Burner which is a piece of crap. Some Asus motherboard 3 1/2 Floppy 300w High Power PSU 17 " Philips LCD Genius mouse to replace brand less POS Brandless keyboard. XP Home SP3 Generic Speakers This one was bought from [censored](Yes it censored part of the name) Smith Electronics a Aussie/NZ company when they built their own PC's and it's so generic that it's not funny. But it's one of there only ones to have a black case. Random 56k Modem Router: Netgear which is white and 54mbps wireless and 100mbps wired Modem: Thompson provided by ISP and runs OK it's ADSL2+ but my location means I don't really get ADSL2+ speed though this was the best free upgrade ever as the old Dlink had bad filters that would limit speed to 3.5MBPS.
Laptop:Emachines (Used for school and stuff) 1.6Ghz Amd Athlon 64 Single Core 2GB Ram (I added another 1gb stick) Ati radeon x1250 or somthing. 160 GB WD HDD 8X Dvd Drive Windows XP Pro SP3

Your Stepdad and your mother both have quite powerful PCs. Do they use them for just internet, email and bits and pieces or more than that?

My Athlon XP is pretty much untouched, except that I added a Samsung DVD burner a while ago.
Server Motherboard: PC-Chips Xcell (rebranded SiS 630) Processor: Pentium II 233 (512 KB cache) (will upgrade to a P3/500 ASAP) RAM: 64 MB PC100 (will upgrade to 768 MB ASAP) HDD: 4.3 GB IDE Seagate Medalist (whirry, will add more ASAP) Video: Onboard SiS 630 Network: PCI Realtek 8139, PCI Lucent 56k modem (driver voodoo: only has drivers for NT4 and 95, the NT4 one won't find the modem on XP) Drives: Floppy (unconfirmed), CD reader (mostly working), DVD burner (unconfirmed, needs to be connected, see "Fun facts") OS: Debian 5.0.3 (tends to freeze during bootup) Monitor: Samsung SyncMaster 450b (the 550v that also came with it died), brightness problem (console black is almost blue) Fun facts: Requires those rare IDE cables which allow pin 20 (the key pin) to be fitted.
